| Financial Aid and scholarship |
The college offers financial aid in the form of assistantships
to deserving and the most needy students. The students
have to work for the college’s FM station or other
departments for these assistantships. These assistantships
are however not sufficient to cover the tuition and all
living expenses of the students and they are suggested
to explore other financial resources. As all the courses
are run in the morning shift, students can also do jobs
in the day time.
Scholarships are given to two female students from the
deprived communities, one from the Terai & one from
the hilly region, under the initiative of the college
administration. The college provides scholarships to the
best students in each semester. |
| International Students |
| As the college offers all courses in English, any international
student showing proof of command in English language are
welcome at CJMC. Kathmandu’s pleasant weather, minimal
tuition fees and lower living expenses are some of the
attraction for international students at CJMC. Besides,
it would be a good on-the-spot platform for international
students to explore the trends in journalism, mass communication
and other sectors in developing countries like Nepal.
