Approach
One of our major target is to develop the CJMC
FM 106 MHz into a radio of international standard
by airing international programmes, and by working
in close association with the international media
community. This association may take any form
including programme exchange. The CJMC FM will
also be developed as a part of the platform to
transform the college into a deemed "University
of Mass communication". We
intend to develop CJMC FM different from the
existing FM stations by working with the international
media community for the global stregthening
of the sector in this 'borderless' era.
The CJMC FM targets to air
51 percent Neplai programmes and 49 percent
foreign programmes.
Our effort to run an educational
FM Radio will also benefit the International
Media Community by providing a common platform
to come and work together for a common goal.
This is how we can make a difference in comparison
to the existing radios in Nepal. In the age
of globalization we see no borders thus; our
intention is to work with International Media
Community to strengthen media globally for peace,
democracy and humanrights.
CJMC FM exclusively focuses
on mass communication, oriented programmes to
benefit the young generation by providing information
about international media institutions, organizations
and fellowships where student will be informed
with a slogan "Communication for
change".
We are the leading journalism
institution as a media college of difference
not only in Nepal but also in South Asia. Join
your hands with us.
